This Declaration and Disclaimer is a legally binding condition of your use of the Jain Vadhu Var Parichay Sanstha, Pune’s Platform ("Platform").

This platform is meant strictly for seeking and/or forming of legal alliances of and for eligible Jain candidates only. By submitting the matrimonial registration form and accessing the directory services provided by the Jain Vadhu Var Parichay Sanstha, Pune ("Sanstha", "Samaj", "Trust"), you acknowledge and unconditionally accept the following terms:

1. User Declaration of Truth & Accuracy
By submitting this matrimonial registration form, you solemnly declare and acknowledge that all information, credentials, and media you provide are true, complete, and accurate to the best of your knowledge. Any misrepresentation or suppression of material facts may lead to the immediate termination of your profile without a refund.

2. Consent to Share & Internal Review Process
You provide your explicit consent for your submitted information to be shared with prospective matches, their families, and the designated Reviewers of the Samaj strictly for the purpose of matrimonial introductions. Furthermore, you acknowledge that your uploaded photographs and identity proofs will be scrutinized by the Samaj’s Reviewers to verify basic authenticity and prevent platform abuse.

3. Community Publication (Melawa Book) & Opt-Out
You agree that the data submitted via your profile may be published in the official Melawa book and circulated across internal Samaj channels (such as official WhatsApp groups or newsletters) exclusively for matrimonial purposes. You retain the right to request the removal or redaction of your profile from future offline publications and the digital directory at any time by formally contacting the Committee.

4. Status as a Mere Facilitator (Intermediary)
The Jain Vadhu-Var Parichay Sanstha, Pune operates strictly as an "Intermediary" within the meaning of Section 2(1)(w) and Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000. The Sanstha acts solely as a facilitator—providing a technological and community bridge for eligible individuals to meet. The Samaj does not guarantee any successful match, alliance, or specific outcome resulting from your use of the Platform.

5. Independent Due Diligence & Final Decision
All profile information present on the Platform is self-declared by the respective users. While the Samaj conducts a preliminary review of identity proofs, we do not conduct exhaustive background, financial, character, or criminal verifications.

Final decisions regarding marriage, alliances, and any subsequent financial or legal commitments rest entirely with you and your family. If you choose to express interest, share contact details, or arrange meetings with another user, you are strictly advised to conduct your own rigorous, independent verification of the prospect’s credentials, including but not limited to the prospect’s financial and/or family credentials and/or marital status.

6. Absolute Exclusion of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the Samaj, its trustees, Committee members, Reviewers, or technical partners be held civilly or criminally liable for:

  • User Conduct & Misrepresentation: The conduct, behaviour, or any misrepresentations (including fake profiles or catfishing) made by any party introduced through this platform.
  • Untoward Incidents: Any physical, emotional, or psychological harm, mishap, or untoward incident resulting from online or offline interactions, meetings, or alliances formed through the Samaj.
  • Financial/Legal Loss: Any extortion, financial fraud, or legal disputes incurred due to interactions with individuals discovered via the Platform or the Melawa book.

By proceeding with your registration, you irrevocably agree to indemnify and hold the Jain Vadhu-Var Parichay Sanstha Pune harmless from any claims, disputes, or liabilities arising directly or indirectly out of your matrimonial journey and interactions with other users.


Consent Notice for Data Processing

Notice Reference: Under the provisions of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA)

This Consent Notice outlines how we, as the Data Fiduciary, collect, process, and protect your digital personal data. By affirmatively ticking the consent checkbox below and proceeding with platform registration, you provide your free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous consent to the processing of your data as detailed below.

I. What Personal Data We Collect and Our Purpose
We strictly collect only the data necessary to provide you with secure, verified, and culturally aligned matrimonial matchmaking services.

  • Identity & Verification Data: Government-issued ID and photo verification data — to verify your identity and prevent fraudulent profiles.
  • Core Matrimonial Data: Name, gender, age, height, education, profession, income, NRI status, marital status, parental status — to build your profile and route matchmaking queries.
  • Community Data: Sub-caste — for culturally relevant match recommendations.
  • Media Data: Up to 6 photos and premium video introductions — to enhance your profile visibility.
  • Communication Data: Phone number and WhatsApp number — for secure, platform-managed notifications.
  • Financial Data: Billing and payment details — to process the registration fee and generate your invoice.

II. Your Rights as a Data Principal
Under the DPDPA, you maintain total control over your digital personal data. You have the right to:

  • Right to Access: Request a summary of the personal data we process.
  • Right to Correction & Updating: Correct or update your data directly via your user dashboard.
  • Right to Erasure: Request permanent deletion of your data and profile.

III. How to Withdraw Your Consent
You have the right to withdraw your consent for data processing at any time with the same ease with which it was given.

Mechanism: You may withdraw consent at any time from your account under My Profile → Privacy & Consent, or by formally contacting the Committee with a request to deactivate your profile and erase your data.
Consequences: Withdrawing consent will halt further processing of your data and trigger the removal of your profile from the platform. As the platform operates on a paid-access model, withdrawing consent will terminate your ability to utilize the matchmaking services.
